Grammar Collection - It's All Relative Pronouns
The relative pronouns (who, that, which, when, where, whose) can be hard to practise without any real context. You can try and get students to produce a sentence using any of the pronouns, but that can often leave them stumped, quiet and embarrassed.
"It's All Relative Pronouns" is a board game containing 35 pictures. Each picture is, admittedly a little odd but, great for using the relative pronouns. All the students have to do is to roll the dice, move their counter and then describe what they can see in the picture using one of the relative pronouns. The pronouns are listed on the board, just to help them.
