Another board game for the birthday month. This time a board game to practice linking words and their relationships. It's a normal board game, students roll the dice and move their counter around the squares, trying to avoid the "miss a turn" squares. When they land on a word they have to think of a word that is linked to the word on the board. So, for example, they might land on "fish". They can then say "sea", "ocean", "shark" or anything else that might link with it.
Hand is to Glove is a great warmer activity and can be a lot of fun for all students.
