Everyone loves the hungry caterpillar...don't they? Most people should at least have heard of the great book.
So, if you are teaching food and drink to your students, why not have them keep a food diary of everything they ate and drank over the week (great for homework)?
The Hungry Caterpillar Food Diary allows your younger students to record the food and drinks they consume over five days. They need to record more food each day than they did the day before, so it could get a little more challenging as the weeks go on. The sentence structure (using the Past Simple Tense i.e. ate and drank) is included for each day, so all your students need to worry about are the names of the food and drinks.
