ESL Matt-Erials has joined forces with SA TEFL Academy to provide new teachers with activities they can use in their classes and make their lives a little bit easier.
So, it is time for the first new Matt-Erials activity in quite some time (sorry about folks, life get's in the way at times).
"In Tents" is a powerpoint based, "random" tense generator. Just have your students come up to the interactive whiteboard (if you have such a thing) or computer and press/click on the "spin button". They will then be given the name of a tense in English. You can then decide what they, or the class does with that tense. Maybe have them write sentences in that tense as a class, or have the individual produce a sentence using the tense, or any other idea you can come up with!
