Takeaway Tuesday #15: Make an Outfit

Takeaway Tuesday #15: Make an Outfit

Most English courses for young learners and lower level adults will include a unit on clothes and what someone is wearing. It's not the hardest one to practice, but making it fun/amusing can be challenging.

Make an Outfit is a PPT game that should help to achieve a fun, rewarding and productive class activity.

Have students take turns coming to the computer and pressing the "one", "two" or "three" button. This will cause the sliders to move and the outfit to change. Once the student has chosen the "girl" or "boy" side they can produce the sentence "He is wearing..." or "She is wearing..."

The funs comes when an item of "girls" clothing ends up on the "boy" side or an item of "boys" clothing ends up on the "girl" side!
