I think it is safe to say that nearly every teacher uses flashcard games of some sort in their lesson. Maybe you don't use them for every lesson, but the chances are high if you you are introducing new language to young learners.
Thumbs up is a flashcard game for four players. They all need to sit around the table, their hands on the board. One player picks up a card and shows it to the other three. The first player to put their thumb up and name the vocabulary item on the card correctly, wins the card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
