Takeaway Tuesday #6: Draughts/Chess Board
Draughts and Chess are a classic games that we all know how to play (ok...hands up, I am not 100% about chess...) but even if we don't know how to play them, the boards can be incredibly versatile for any teaching environment.
You can use them as a board game, a score card, a way of scoring points...I'll let you think of your own uses (I am sure you can think of a few).
This PDF includes a colour board and a black and white one which is easily photocopied, shared around the teachers room and used in classes.
