Wanting a review activity for a lesson on animals, I decided to have a little bit of fun.
Split the class into two teams and assign each a lens (a side of the pair of glasses). They will see a blurry picture of a hybrid animal (well, two animals mixed together) and, for the points, have to name both animals. In he example above it's a Rhino crossed with a Shark! If they can successfully name both animals, they get two points. If they only name one, they get one point. If they choose not to name either, because they are unsure, the lens passes to the other team and they can get a point. It comes with its very own score sheet for you to print and use.
It also works well as a warmer activity for any age group, I used it with a class of teenagers and it went down rather well.
